at home

Recycling at home is getting easier!

Many local authorities now provide a regular door-to-door recycling service, so check your council's website for details of what you can recycle at home.

If you don't currently have a kerbside recycling service, you will find can banks at local supermarkets or civic amenity sites. Or you could save your cans and recycle them for cash! For details of your nearest site council recycling site click here. For Details of cash for cans recycling centres click here.

Aluminium cans collected by your local authority are either sorted at the kerbside or in a 'materials recycling facility' before being baled and delivered to Novelis' can recycling plant in Cheshire. Take a look around the recycling loop and the plant - click here

Think cans..think recycling

Remember it's not just cans that can be recycled – 60% of the contents of your bin can be too. With a bit of organisation you can get your household recycling effectively. For more information and advice visit www.recyclenow.com
